OPEN POSITIONS

Department: Service

Position: Technician – Agricultural

Description: Full time position as an agricultural equipment service technician. Responsibilities include the timely diagnosis and repair of mechanical, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and power train system components on tractors, combines, & hay tools. An agricultural service technician is also responsible for the pre-delivery and setup of new equipment.

Minimum Requirements: Must take pride in your work. Must have a desire to excel in your career and make customer satisfaction your #1 goal. At least 5 years experience in an equipment service department. Must be able to perform work in a timely manner similar to that of flat rate. Must be able to perform estimates and evaluate the economic feasibility of a repair before beginning. Must have good technical writing skills. Must be able to follow safe working procedures and maintain a tidy working area. Must provide your own basic and some specialty tools. Must be able to work in a new, clean, and well lit shop with equipment lifts and PC workstations.

Desired Requirements: Formal technical skills training from an accredited institution or equipment manufacturer. Equipment manufacturer Master Technician (or equivalent) certification. Valid Ohio driver’s license with not more than one moving violation in the past 12 months. Computer experience in both Unix and Windows environments.
